Find your passion to be your career, or not?

How many people right here, right now are still thinking about whether, or not what they got going for them, or what they think they want as their career is what they will still be passionate about many years from now?

Well, I’m one of many that for quite a few frustrating months (started really thinking about my future around January 2013) couldn’t figure out what my passion was, and thus could become my career for a number of years. I just couldn’t figure out if I had a passion for anything that could become a stable enough career to keep.

And you know what guys? Just maybe, it’s possible I did this the wrong way. I know even more of you guys on my friend’s list would say, “Yea Danny, who follows the advice “your passion could become your career?” Well for some time now, I believe in this risky, yet hope filled advice because I knew for a fact that if I could I didn’t want to be forced to commit to 9-5 job and just hate waking up the next day knowing that’s where I’ll be that day.

Anyways, long story short, for those about to go to college, in college already, or even those that are already climbing the ladder, see if you could take a few minutes to watch this interesting lecture that following, “find what you are passionate about, that could be your career” may not be the best career advice anymore.

Oh, but for those that still believe in it, don’t let this post force you to decide anything. I’m just saying my side of the story. Do your best to find your passionate career and please prove me wrong! Thank you!

Sunday Morning Smoothie. Mango, pineapple, banana, and frozen blueberries and blackberries. It was a big success. On the side I had a little bowl of cereal with vanilla almond milk. It is so beautiful outside and making myself a delicious breakfast is what I call a good start to the day.
